Blooming
Blooming is intricately tied to the shedding of what doesn’t serve us and embracing of who we believe ourselves to be now.
Blooming is a process that requires patience and persistence. Flowers faithfully follow this amazing pattern throughout the different seasons. No flower is always in the final stages of its petals feathered out and what it has been working on for months proudly displayed. It waits until it is ready and has been nurtured to the point where it can bloom. Flowers don’t wait for the perfect circumstances and have learned through their own intelligence how to grow in different conditions.
As humans, we are not taught to respect the different ridges of life and become obsessed with staying in one constant state for fear of experiencing hardship and difficulty. I think we do that because we are afraid of the constant cycle in our life of rebirth and death. We are aware of the definite starting and ending points we call birth and death in society, but in between those two is the shedding of old versions and the welcoming of new ones.
All of us go through different versions of ourselves in one lifetime. Think about it. What you are taught as a child might not work for you as an adult and so you begin the process of a rebirth…
