Fall in love with taking care of yourself. Fall in love with the path of deep healing. Fall in love with becoming the best version of yourself but with patience, with compassion and respect to your own journey.-s.mcnutt

Our lives wouldn’t mean much if we didn’t have to experience the hard things. Think about your favorite inspirational person. Now read their story. Most likely this human had mountains to climb and move and spin around before they reached where they are now. Ask yourself can I embrace the other side? The imperfections, mistakes, and “down” thoughts? It’s only when I started owning the less than great feelings and letting them pass without weighing myself down that I could relate to them instead of run away from them. The question is what do we do with this reality that we have lived through? No matter how heartbreaking or inhumane? What as a collective and an individual do we do to help alleviate the suffering? I think the first step is being aware of what is going on inside of us and confronting the discomfort. If you don’t it will own you and we need you owning yourself in this world.

Additional Thoughts

  • When people are inspired they will find a way.
  • Feel your relationship with grief. Find your way through pain.
  • Somebody has to show that life can be fun and exciting even if it is tough and challenging. That even though we experience pain and trauma along the way that’s not the end of the road. Someone has to show that we can get through our tragedies without letting them own us.

XO,

Laveet
