Grace makes the world go around.
it is only heavy because you are deciding over and over again to carry it. embrace change, loosen up your sense of identity, let yourself walk a new path. you do not have to ignore or erase the past. you just have to wholeheartedly embrace the present and move on. — yung pueblo
Grace is such a weird word because it doesn’t have a clear definition across cultures, religions, or even individuals. When I take grace and think of it as an action it starts to get stickier and finding a way to describe it required me to think about my life experience. For me grace is the place I go to in my heart when I really need to forgive someone which can include myself (yes I have to forgive myself sometimes) and let go of past wrongs. Past wrongs can include things that I went through that I have trouble accepting as a part of my overall life experience…..So things that I tend to fight by saying I did not deserve that or why did that happen to me? To me grace has become an action I can take to offer up love instead of anger or judgement when I am really am stuck in my past and have trouble existing in the present. I found through this practice that grace is not just a beautiful name but also a way of life that frees you from your past and allows you to move forward in the most peaceful way possible. And of course it’s mainly for your own sake. It’s an inexpensive way for me to practice letting go. I…
