Letting Go

It seems as if letting go is a practice and we must choose it over and over again if we want to truly exist in the present.

Two things make life easier: having a good relationship with your intuition and not being afraid to change. -Yung Pueblo

How do we tell our body and mind to stay vibrant and alive? How do we tell ourselves to not get upset over someone else’s bad attitude? How do we protect ourselves from other people’s toxicity? Let it go. You don’t have to revisit places you left behind for your sanity, health, and wellness. If people are still in those spaces, leave them be.

I think for some of us one of the hardest concepts to work through when it comes to maintaining our overall well-being is letting go of what exists outside of our control. Somehow we want to be able to hold onto people, moments, or thoughts and at the same time expect to be able to make space for what’s coming. That’s the weird-ness of life. We get to experience moments at the same time as letting them go.

Additional Thoughts

  • With pain and discomfort you have to feel it at the same time as letting it go. Let go.
  • See how many things you’re working through. See how much of it is you trying to work through someone else’s issues. Let go.
