I’ve been a renter for over a decade now and I love to take care of my space as if I owned it. When I first moved across the nation from California to Maryland, my dad told me to minimize buying any home decor based in logic that I would only be there for a few years. I have a beef with that. A home is still a home whether you are a renter or a buyer. You should customize it to your personal needs and wants- this became very clear during the pandemic- and it should carry an uplifting energy where you feel safe and secure.
