Owning the Whole Process
The process is where joy lives.
Learning to cherish the whole process is where joy lives. -Laveet
If I make aspects of my life a verb then I acknowledge that they are changeable. They become a process by which I am doing things and at any point can respond to a need to change. So many things in our lives are not spoken of as processes that we are allowed to edit, recreate, and snip. Hell, LIFE is one big process.
It takes on many different shades at any given moment and requires us to be present for all of it, including the hiccups along the way. Mistakes are an equal part of the process that is you. Any “errors” you make along the way should be seen through a learning lens, so you can keep moving forward and live your life. Try remembering that the next time you are up against something that challenges you to own the whole process! No challenge is greater than you, I promise.
Additional thoughts
- Be experience. Feel the process. Be present for both the experience and process.
- See yourself as a process. A never ending relationship. A space that can grow and evolve and die.
